Welcome to Naver Couture

We are an online boutique and store for Elna sewing machines and sewing accessories, with a simple online booking system to reserve your next group or private sewing class.

I'm passionate about the world of sewing and love encouraging your creativity through all kinds of sewing projects. Make your own clothes, accessories or modernize your home. I'll give you the tools you need to develop your self-confidence, guiding you through each of your projects in group or private sewing classes. Naver Couture is also happy to advise you on the purchase of a new Elna sewing machine, and offers a repair service for sewing machines of all brands.

**Group courses

Bring your own projects (or choose one from the many on offer) and I'll guide you through to the finished product. Meet other like-minded seamstresses while learning new skills and discovering your sewing machine.

We cover everything from making clothes to learning how to use PDF patterns, magazines and store-bought patterns. But also: sewing between sizes, copying garments, children's clothing, making accessories, recycling, alterations or creating home furnishings....

Limited to 3 participants per class, and limited by the size of the project, as this is a group class and space must be shared. Bring your own sewing machine or rent one for CHF 5.00 per hour.

Classes must be purchased as a package for the dates given each month in advance.

Private sewing course

Book a private lesson at your convenience. If you can't join the group classes, why not book a private lesson?

Are you a complete beginner who would prefer to take a few lessons on your own before joining the group, or are you an advanced sewer who wants to perfect a specific technique or simply learn something in particular? Booking a private lesson has many advantages: you can choose the time and duration of your lesson (minimum 1 hour).

If you want to deepen your knowledge, or bring in a large-scale project - the room and space are at your disposal. Book via the online calendar. Cancellations up to 24 hours in advance.

BOOK A PRIVATE LESSON

After-school sewing club for children (in French)

Join us for after-school sewing classes, suitable for beginners and children with some sewing experience.

(ages 9-14 )

Classes are held in small groups and last 75 minutes.

We'll explore different stitches on the machine and practice different sewing techniques through projects according to the level, interests and pace of the group. I also encourage teamwork and the pleasure of learning together.

Includes the use of machines, without materials. Kit materials vary from CHF 10 to 25 per project, and are invoiced separately at the end of the term. I encourage recycling projects using what you already have to reduce costs and respect the environment. This course is very popular, places are limited - early registration is recommended. We have 2 sewing clubs, on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4.30 - 5.45 pm. There is still room for the Monday club.

Birthday party - Sew your own taco and take it home.

Up to 5 children, supervised by a parent.

Price CHF 50 per child Age range 9-13 years

Duration: 2 hours.

If additional time is needed, it can be added. Sewing kit and use of materials and machines included.

Naver Couture offers repair and maintenance services for all brands of sewing machines.

To keep your sewing machine in top condition and running smoothly, consider arranging an annual service.

If your sewing machine is giving you problems that need solving, or if you'd like a maintenance service, bring it to Naver Couture.
