ETCETERA - SOCIAL EMPLOYMENT AGENCY For more than 30 years Etcetera has been providing short- and medium-term hourly paid jobs to people who, for various reasons, do not have a regular job. Our clients include private households as well as companies and institutions. The simple auxiliary work is done, for example, in the areas of cleaning, gardening, waste disposal, transport and shipping.

Etcetera was founded back in the 1980s. Youth unemployment in Zurich was high and there was a lack of work opportunities for young adults. Against this background, SAH Zurich came up with the idea of setting up a social job placement service. From then on, the success story took its course. From the second year on, people of all ages and different groups of people benefited: From welfare recipients to the working poor to migrants with restricted work permits or retirees with a meager AHV income.

Over the years, more and more hours were placed and the number of workers increased steadily. Today, SAH Zurich operates Etcetera branches at four locations:
