Over 66 years ago, Alex Zollinger and Anna Zollinger set up their own bedding factory in the Hüslihof in Rafz near Wil. Today, the modern cleaning department still deals with feather cleaning. Closely connected with the development of the company is also the multiple extension of the property from an old building into a smart business and residential house.

The Hüslihof was first mentioned in a document in 1699, when the Eglisau town clerk built it and a vine grower moved in. A short time later, a tug-of-war began between the communities of Wil and Rafz as to where the Hüslihof belonged politically. It was not until 1855 that the dispute was finally concluded and the Hüslihof was definitely awarded to the municipality of Wil.

Alex and Anna Zollinger solved the local problem ideally and used the expression of the region for their company - Bettwaren: Rafzerfeld. In 1963 Alex Zollinger had his parents' house rebuilt several times according to his own plans and set up his own bedding factory, which he ran with his wife Anna and two employees.

They produced flat duvets, blankets and bedsprings were cleaned and freshly filled within a day. Furthermore, mattresses, upholstered furniture, fitted carpets, curtains and trousseau goods were sold. Five years later, a large-scale furniture showroom was built.
