Algae on facades are a growing problem of our time.

About 90% of all soiling on facades is due to the growth of algae and fungi.

Once infested, algae and fungi grow inexorably until they have spread over the entire facade. At the latest then they make even the most beautiful facade look unsightly. Since the plaster and the paint on facades that have been affected at an early stage are usually still sound and intact, a cost-intensive repainting is not yet necessary.

Our specially developed cleaning process is suitable for plaster, ETICS and Eternit facades that are contaminated with algae and fungi. A final treatment with Hermes Facade Protection HFS ensures that the cleaning result is maintained over the long term. This facade protection adheres to the facade, penetrates into the pores and thus provides long-lasting protection against algae and fungi.

More than 10 years of development have gone into this cleaning method. From the working equipment to the cleaning solutions - everything is tuned to the most efficient way of removing algae.

Our method in 3 steps.

1. Pre-treatment

The affected facadeflächen are sprayed with our specially developed algae remover Hermes Fassadenrein HF1. After a short time, the cleaning solution is absorbed by the algae and dissolves them without attacking the substrate.

2. Gentle rinsing

After the appropriate exposure time, the dissolved soiling can now be gently rinsed off. As described above, this is extremely gentle on the facade. The right combination of water impact force, nozzle distance as well as size ensures an optimal result. **The resulting wash-off water is collected, treated and reused.

3. Post-treatment

To give the facade the necessary protection against microbial infestation again, it is treated with our transparent disinfectant Hermes Facade Protection HFS. This facade protection adheres to the facade, penetrates deep into the pores and thus provides long-lasting protection against algae and fungi.

5 years warranty

Upon completion of our complete procedure, we give you a 5-year guarantee against renewed algae infestation. The products used have already been in use for many years and therefore have the corresponding long-term experience.
